Clay With A Cause: Pro Bono Pottery Social & Fundraiser

20 February 2025
Clay for a Cause: Pro Bono Pottery Social and Fundraiser was a standout event hosted by the LSE Law Society Pro Bono Division and LSE Craft Society during the academic year 2024/25. Designed to blend creativity with community impact, the evening brought together students, staff, and supporters for a hands-on pottery session while raising funds and awareness for Coram Children’s Legal Centre. Through artistic expression and shared purpose, the event created a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere, allowing participants to engage with social justice in a unique and meaningful way.
Coram Children’s Legal Centre is a leading UK charity that works to protect and promote the rights of children, particularly those who are vulnerable, marginalised, or facing legal barriers. The organisation provides free legal information, representation, and advocacy on issues ranging from immigration and education to child protection and family law. Its mission is to ensure that every child—regardless of their background or circumstances—can access justice, be heard, and thrive. By supporting Clay for a Cause, attendees contributed directly to sustaining this vital work and helped champion the legal rights and wellbeing of children across the country.
